As many of my freinds know by now, I’m in the hospital having fractured my other hip. Sad story I know. First I want to thank you all for your prayers, your phone calls and your visits. Our church is really learning how to love one another: support one another, assist one another, carry one another’s burdens, etc. My church and fellow believers are a joy to fellowship with.Their prayers helped to call out the necessary number of angels to battle for my life. That is exactly what happened. Just before I went into surgery, the Lord told me that this was going to be an adventure. That is not something that I would have ever thought. They gave me a block instead of regular anesthesia because in my last surgery I had to be resuscitated. So you see how important prayers were. I was given valium and some other similar medications to help me totally relax. When I went “under’ I was in a room of huge, HUGE, tall, big glorious white shining angels battling with swords I’m sure I saw flashing by. The whole room, in the Spirit, was bright white light, bright wings, bright white robes and flashes of their shining golden hair. I felt rather small, even child like. All around me were these glorious angelic beings battling the enemy for my life. It was a battle that would be won. And God had put joy in me, chasing away all anxiety. Occasionally, I would come to consciousness and would tell the surgical team that they were great warriors, and winning the battle, and I think I praised each one of them for the great job they were doing. My joy at witnessing this triumphant battle was almost unspeakable. It was truly an adventure..
After I asked the Lord for a Scripture about what had happened. The Scripture the Lord gave to me was Psalms 24:7-10 where the Lord is called the King of glory, strong and mighty and mighty in battle. This was a conviction that what I had experienced was real and not a dream.
Remember the Scriptures that say that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purposes. We don’t always know what God has to do in order to work things for our betterment. But it always requires a few things on our part. We need to trust and believe God. We must be willing. And we must do whatever we know God is telling us to do. Jesus said that His sheep hear His voice. We are no comparison to the beauty, power or strength of God or His angels. Realizing that should help us to rely upon God’s influence in our lives in all areas. As we determine to be close to God and do what is necessary to do that, we will become more sensitive to God’s voice, influence and presence. He is here with us.
Rev. 3: 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
John 14: 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.
God is with us in many ways we just do not see. So remember that the next time you pray for something, think BIG.
Much Aloha in the Lord,
TL,
I hope your recovery is going well. Praying you'll be back on feet asap!

thanks, Elaine. Working on it. I'm certain this leg will actually heal up altogether. Just takes a little time for bones to knit and muscles, etc. to recover. Strange how slow a day can go by when you are waiting. Fortunately, I need a lot of sleep right now. :)

Gods plan was for me to live through the surgery..

Yes, God is so good. It is likely that for Christians, God always has angels helping us through these times. We just don't normally see them. It is so great when God allows us to see spiritually for just a moment or so. :)
